USM, LSB Formalize Partnership During Ceremonial MOA Signing

The University of Southern Mindanao (USM) posted results in the March 2026 Licensure Examination for Professional Teachers (LET), which was held on March 15, 2026, across various Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) testing centers nationwide.

For the Elementary Education program, USM recorded a 36.49% overall passing rate. First-time takers posted 91.49%, while retakers registered 10.89%. Out of 148 examinees, 54 passed the board examination. The national passing rate for Elementary Education was 56.03%.

In the same category, USM produced topnotchers. Gizelle Catahum Salazar ranked 3rd nationally with a rating of 94.40%, while Daisy Mae Cabada Bulawan secured Rank 8 with 93.20%.

For Secondary Education, USM obtained a 42.64% overall passing rate. First-time takers posted 86.79%, while retakers recorded 12.77%. A total of 168 out of 394 examinees passed the examination. The national passing rate for Secondary Education stood at 73.10%.

USM graduates also placed in the national rankings. Kathleen Rose Florida Baylon ranked 7th with a rating of 93.80%. Jonna May Balicog Paler, Bong Jay-ar Baghari Rocha, and Maebeth Kaye Estilloso Servano all shared Rank 9 with identical ratings of 93.40%.

The results were released on May 12, 2026 by the Professional Regulation Commission (PRC), the government agency mandated to regulate and administer licensure examinations in the Philippines.
