The University of Southern Mindanao (USM) hereby implements the following measures to ensure a clean, orderly, and environmentally sustainable campus. This initiative is spearheaded by the Environmental Management Committee, in partnership with the DA-Philippine Carabao Center (DA-PCC) at USM.
1. Strict Implementation of Designated Parking Areas
All vehicles must be parked only in designated areas to ensure proper organization and maintain unobstructed pathways within the campus.
2. Strict Enforcement of the No Single-Use Plastics (SUPs) Policy
The use of single-use plastics is strictly regulated in accordance with Board of Regents (BOR) Resolution No. 47, s. 2019, to reduce waste and promote the use of eco-friendly and reusable alternatives.
