The SOCCSKSARGEN Agriculture, Aquatic, and Natural Resources Research and Development Consortium (SOXAARRDEC) joined the Celebration of Learning and Service: Annual Student Research Presentation on April 10, 2026, at Audio Visual Center (AVP), Southern Christian College, Midsayap, Cotabato. With the theme, “Research with Purpose: Driving Societal Empowerment and Transformation,” the event provided a venue for in-depth discussion on research topics such as poultry, halal food, and other research areas in the fields of education, agri-business, and agriculture.
Dr. Julius Jerome G. Ele, Consortium Director, served as the chairman of the evaluating panel, along with Dr. Pernelyn Torrena, Dr. Gideon S. Sumayo, and Prof. Bryan Lloyd Bretaña. Dr. Rodelio Ambangan, Dr. Rodelio N. Ambangan, Vice President for Research and Extension, gave opening remarks during the event, followed by an inspirational message from Dr. Sumayo. Our active participation and collaboration with our CMIs during their agency/institution research presentation and/or in-house reviews is a part of our banner program, R&D Coordination and Management, ensuring alignment, quality assurance, and strengthened collaboration among partners and stakeholders.
