USM PESTLab Gathers USM, USeP Entomology Students, Experts, and Food Practitioners for PESTalk 2026

Newly designated Cotabato Provincial Fishery Office (PFO) Officer-in-Charge Elmer N. Suriaga paid a courtesy visit to University of Southern Mindanao (USM) President Jonald L. Pimentel on November 3, 2026, at the Office of the President in Kabacan, Cotabato.
During the meeting, Suriaga and Pimentel discussed the PFO’s ongoing initiatives under its new leadership and possible areas of cooperation with the university, particularly in support of the fisheries industry and the development of Cotabato Province.
They also talked about continuing the work of both offices in programs that support the province’s fisheries sector.
