Jaynel Evangelista Barzo, an instructor and alumnus of the University of Southern Mindanao, recently received an Outstanding South Cotabateño Award under the Professional Commission and Regulation Category-Topnotchers on July 15, 2024, at the South Cotabato Sports Complex, Koronadal, South Cotabato. The honor is in recognition of the outstanding people of South Cotabato who have brought pride and honor to the province.
Presented by Hon. Vincent Figueroa, the SK Provincial Federation President, Barzo received a medal and cash from the provincial government during the 25th T’nalak Festival and 58th Founding Anniversary Governor’s Night and Dangal ng South Cotabato Excellence Awarding Ceremony.
Hon. Arthur Y. Pingoy Jr., the Provincial Vice Governor, delivered a message of celebration to fellow South Cotabateños for their remarkable achievements. He highlighted that different awardees are inspirations to the people of the province.
For the record, Barzo ranked 2nd during the September 2023 Licensure Examination for Professional Teachers with an impressive average score of 94.40%.
