The University of Southern Mindanao (USM) signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with the University of Perpetual Help System Dalta Molino Campus through a virtual teleconference on May 02, 2025. 

USM and the University of Perpetual Help will cooperate on academic and research initiatives such as exchange of staff and students, provision of learning opportunities for its students, and trainings and capacity building activities for students and staff, and exchange of authorized resources like academic materials, publications, and other scientific information. 

Dr. Jonald L. Pimentel, USM President, along with Dr. Debbie Marie B. Verzosa, the Vice President for Research Development and Extension (VPRDE) of USM, Engr. Maricel Dayaday, the Dean of the College of Engineering and Information technology (CEIT), and Dr. Decee Dhealyn Sabit, Director of RDO of USM-KCC joined the MOU signing. 

Also present in the online MOU signing from University of Perpetual Help System Dalta Molino Campus were Dr. Reno R. Rayel, the School Director, Engr. Wilfredo N. Leano, the Head of General Services Department, and Ms. Mira T. Ramirez, the Linkages Officer. 

The linkage between USM and UPHSD-Molino Campus started through Dr. Rodrigo Jamisola, a Balik Siyentista of USM in 2021 and also a Balik Siyentista of UPHSD-Molino Campus.
