USM Pigcawayan Rolls Out On-Site Enrollment through UICTO

The University of Southern Mindanao (USM) through Ralph Butch Garidan, Information Systems Analyst II of the University Information and Communication Technology Office (UICTO), qualified to the National Digital Challenge after winning in the region conducted by the Department of Information and Communications Technology (DICT) Regional Office XII (SOCCSKSARGEN & LAMA) – North Cotabato Provincial Field Office on June 4, 2025.
He earned an average rating of 94.17% after the word processing, spreadsheet, and presentation challenges. He competed against fifteen professionals from different institutions in the region. Garidan will be representing Region XII to the national level on June 25, 2025.
In line with the National ICT Month celebration, the Challenge, themed: “Walang Iwanan sa Digital Bayanihan,” aimed to highlight the competency of the government workforce nationwide in the practical use of computers and various computer applications.
The university extends its heartfelt congratulations to Garidan for the prestigious honor he brought to the institution and wishes for his success at the national level.
