Smart Cacao Budwood Nursery and Greenhouse Officially Launched

The University Quality Assurance Office (UQAO) with the National Service Training Program (NSTP) of the University of Southern Mindanao (USM) visited the different colleges of the university on September 11, 2024 to collect the single-use plastics (SUPs).
Dr. Lawrence Anthony U. Dollente, the UQAO Director, said that the activity is part of the campaign on eliminating SUPs in the campus.
“Our activity is not solely for visibility, but also to connect with USM employees and to reassure their commitment on the campaign.” He underscored.
UQAO, NSTP, USM employees, and student volunteers joined the said activity.
The No Single-Use Plastics Policy in USM started in 2019 through the leadership of USM President Francisco Gil N. Garcia.
