Program chairpersons of the University of Southern Mindanao (USM) Graduate School convened on August 13, 2025, at the Graduate School Conference Room in Kabacan, Cotabato, for an orientation on the Certificate of Program Compliance (COPC).
Dr. Annabelle R. Dafielmoto, Education Supervisor II of the Commission on Higher Education Regional Office (CHEDRO) XII, spearheaded the orientation and mentorship.
She tackled CHED Memorandum Order 9 series of 2023, the Revised Policies and Guidelines on the Issuance of Certificate of Program Compliance (COPC) to State Universities and Colleges (SUCs) and Local Universities and Colleges (LUCs).
Dr. Eimer M. Estilloso, Dean of the USM Graduate School, shared that USM remains committed to meeting compliance requirements, accreditations, and regulations from various agencies to ensure students gain the knowledge, skills, experience, and competencies needed in their chosen fields.
“The USM Graduate School since its establishment in June 1976 as an advanced education arm of the university, has been committed in providing professionals the skills and expertise to be leaders in their workplace and industries and to develop innovative technologies for the improvement of service delivery, thus improving the quality of life of constituents in their service areas,” the Dean highlighted.
Notably, the USM Graduate School now offers a total of thirty-five (35) programs.
