The University of Southern Mindanao (USM) shared its best practices to the Directors and other personnel of the Mindanao State University- General Santos City (MSU-GSC) through a benchmarking activity on March 28, 2025.
Offices visited were the Gender and Development, Alumni, Admission and Records, and Records Management, and the University Information Communication and Technology.
MSU-GSC’s Center for Women Studies Director, Ruhama L. Gomez said, “we are very thankful to USM and we have a lot of things learned today.” She narrated they started with GAD and learned how USM earned the GAD seal.
“I am also amazed how everything (documents in offices) were digitalized making it easier for students… There are so much to learn from USM, kudos to the management, and we wish to be back soon for more.” The Director concluded.
Along with Director Gomez during the benchmarking activity were Rhumer S. Lanojan, the Director for Admissions Office of MSU-GSC, Dr. Alma Celesthia D. Aguja, Director for Alumni Relations Office, Zita S. Puti-an, the OIC Director for Records Management Office, and Karla S. Forcelino, the Executive Assistant of the MSU-GSC Chancellor.
