The University of Southern Mindanao (USM), through the Intellectual Property, Technology Transfer, and Business Development Office (IPTTBDO), brought home two awards from the Regional Startup Pitching Competition, held at Multipurpose Hall, Sultan Kudarat State University, Tacurong City on July 2, 2024.
The USM’s PixelForge earned second place in the Student StartUp Category, while the CSP Smart Farm secured third in the Registered Startup Category.
The activity, organized by SICAD Sox, a TBI consortium in the region, was in collaboration with STEP APP TBI, Icebox TBI, USM ATBI, the Department of Information and Communications Technology (DICT), Department of Trade and Industry (DTI), and Department of Science and Technology (DOST) XII.
The winning startups were under the mentorship of the USM IPTTBDO Director Jalaloden B. Marohom, DBA.
