The University of Southern Mindanao (USM) received a Plaque of Recognition from the Regional Development Council (RDC) XII on December 4, 2024, at Narra Hall, Cinco Niñas, City of Koronadal, South Cotabato.
According to RDC XII, the plaque was presented as a token appreciation for USM’s significant accomplishment and its invaluable contributions to regional development, specifically on promoting quality higher education and innovation in Region XII.
Notably, USM was recognized for its outstanding achievement in Times Higher Education and the QS World University Rankings 2025, securing a place as among the top 901+ Universities in Asia and 169th in Southeast Asia.
