USM College of Medicine joins Nat’l Quiz Bee on BioChem

With over thirteen (13) categories, the University of Southern Mindanao (USM) ranked 50th in the World University Rankings for Innovation (WURI) in the “For Society” category – Crisis Management, as released on June 07, 2024.
The said category focuses on managing environmental and economic crises that universities face from the greater society, such as climate change, diseases like COVID-19, and other global and local crises.
The World University Rankings for Innovation assesses the concrete contributions of higher education institutions to industry and society, highlighting innovative education, research, and societal engagement. The ranking aims to spotlight higher education institutions that excel in these innovative approaches, thereby inspiring advancements across the academic and societal landscape.
Joining for the first time, USM highlighted the projects and initiatives of the Office of Student Affairs (OSA) during its submission in WURI.
