Dr. Jomar B. Esto, Assistant Professor at the University of Southern Mindanao (USM), shared his insights on Building Ethical Standards in Physical Education and Human Development during an international conference titled Embodying Meaning in the Philosophical Lens of Human Movement held online on July 26, 2025. 

Dr. Esto focused on the critical role of ethics in shaping the values, behavior, and overall development of learners through physical education. His talk contributed to the broader discussion on how human movement carries philosophical and educational significance in today’s world.

Organized by Cagayan State University in partnership with theInternational Association of Physical Education and Sports Incorporated and Union Christian Training College, the conference drew 178 participants from Nepal, India, Thailand, and the Philippines.

Attendees engaged in meaningful discussion exploring the deep connection between movement, ethics, and human life.
