Prof. Eugene G. Ranjo, Director of the University Information Communication and Technology Office (UICTO), took part in the Cyber Range Exercises 2025 organized by the Department of Information and Communications Technology (DICT) Region XII.

The event was held on November 27, 2025 at the Dreamweavers Hotel in Koronadal, South Cotabato.

The Cyber Range Exercises were created to give participants a hands-on and realistic learning experience. Teams faced different cyber scenarios where they could practice how to spot threats, respond to attacks, and protect important systems. The goal was to help agencies strengthen their cybersecurity skills and become more prepared for today’s fast-changing digital challenges.

This year’s event carried the theme: Cyber Guardians: Empowering Today’s Defenders, Securing Tomorrow’s Digital Nation.”
