November 5, 2024As part of advancing university services to the communities, the University of Southern Mindanao (USM), through the efforts of the Office of Students Affairs (OSA), visited and carried out an orientation program for students of USM Libungan and Alamada Campuses on November 4, 2024, at USM Libungan covered court in Barangay Montay, Libungan, Cotabato.
The orientation program aims to equip students with essential information about university services such as insurance, library, medical, and incentives, including the policies to avail of such services.
In his message, USM President Francisco Gil N. Garcia, PhD, shared one of his ultimate dreams is to provide quality education for students through USM, a chance for them to have a better future and be globally competitive.
“Unta ang University of Southern Mindanao makahatag sa inyo ug edukasyon nga kinahanglan niyo aron kamo maka compete sa gawas…” He emphasized. He ended his speech thanking the people behind the creation of USM PALMA and to the students for choosing USM.
Meanwhile, Maria Leida M. Donque, EdD, the OSA Director, encouraged the societies and organizations in USM PALMA to process all the accreditation requirements to avoid delays in their activities on campus and outside. For Dr. Donque, accomplishing the requirements is a mutual benefit for OSA and the students.
Dr. Donque also facilitated a fruitful exchange of ideas through an open forum.
