The University of Southern Mindanao’s Kidapawan City Campus (USM KCC) showcased its accomplishments during the Pag-uulat 2024 at USM KCC covered court, Sudapin, Kidapawan City on December 2, 2024. The event, led by Chancellor Dr. Ronielyn F. Pinsoy, celebrated significant milestones that reflect the institution’s commitment to academic excellence and growth.
Dr. Pinsoy began by expressing gratitude to the previous superintendent and deans of the former North Cotabato College of Arts and Trades, acknowledging their contributions to laying a strong foundation for the campus’s progress. Among the achievements highlighted were the attainment of 100% Certificate of Program Compliance and full accreditation for all academic programs. The university also recognized students who ranked as topnotchers in national licensure examinations, showcasing its commitment to producing top-tier graduates.
A major highlight of the report was USM KCC’s attainment of financial autonomy, granting the campus greater flexibility in managing resources and advancing development initiatives. The university further strengthened its global presence by forming international partnerships with universities worldwide, opening opportunities for collaborative research and academic exchanges.
In her remarks, Dr. Pinsoy expressed her gratitude to all stakeholders for their unwavering support, emphasizing the collective effort behind USM KCC’s success.

During the event, USM President Francisco Gil N. Garcia posed the question, “Ramdam niyo ba ang pagbabago?” (Do you feel the change?), to which the crowd enthusiastically replied, “yes.”
He also shared his vision for the campus’s future, hoping for the day it would achieve full independence.
President Garcia concluded the event with an inspiring message, stating, “Kayo pong lahat ay parte ng ating tagumpay” (You are all part of our success), as he encouraged the community to continue striving for excellence.
The Pag-uulat 2024 underscored USM KCC’s readiness to build on its achievements and continue its journey toward institutional independence and excellence.
