USM Honors 31 Employees on 124th Civil Service Anniversary

In line with the celebration of its 70th Founding Anniversary, the University of Southern Mindanao gathered researchers, extensionists, farmers, employees, and private sector representatives in a week-long Research Development and Extension Technology Forum that commenced on September 25, 2024, at the Commercial building, USM, Kabacan, Cotabato.
During the opening program, USM President Francisco Gil N. Garcia served as the guest speaker. In his speech, he emphasized the importance of the activity as it served as a platform to discuss the impact of technology to improve lives through education and agriculture.
Seventeen (17) exhibitors and three (3) product demonstrators from private and government agencies occupied the booths at the commercial building.
Guided by its theme: “Celebrating 70 Years of Progress: Unlocking Technology for Sustainable Future”, the event catered different sets of activities to wit, farmers field day, interactive sessions, and lectures with several invited speakers, and product demonstration.
