The University of Southern Mindanao (USM) organized a seminar titled “Enhancing Skills in Utilizing the Intelligent Feedback Management System and Mobile Application” (IFMSMA) on March 24, 2025, at the University Sky Room, Admin Building, USM, Kabacan, Cotabato.
Prof. Joseph C. Lorilla, a faculty member from the College of Engineering and Information Technology, served as the lecturer during the seminar. He highlighted the importance of feedback in enriching the learning experience, stating, “The core purpose of the IFMS is to revolutionize how institutions gather, analyze, and act on feedback from staff, students, and faculty.”

Meanwhile, Dr. Lawrence Anthony U. Dollente, Director of the University Quality Assurance Office explained the significance of complying with Republic Act No. 11032 and ARTA Memorandum Circular Number 2019-002. He emphasized, “I would like to stress that client satisfaction surveys are very important in all government agencies. It is crucial for us to comply with RA 11032.” His insights reinforced the relevance of the seminar, reminding participants of the legal frameworks that prioritize client satisfaction.
In collaboration with the Human Resource Management and Development Office headed by Dr. Nerissa G. Dela Viña, the seminar gathered faculty members and non-teaching personnel who showed eagerness to understand the IFMS and its mobile application, equipping them to use these tools effectively in their interactions with staff, visitors, and students.

This initiative demonstrates the commitment of USM to maintaining a proactive approach in education, ensuring that feedback mechanisms support efforts to promote continuous improvement in its services.
