The University of Southern Mindanao (USM) received Best Market Study and Best Business Model Canvass awards in the recently conducted Agribusiness Mentorship Series final module of the Regional Agri-aqua Innovation and System Enhancement (RAISE) Program Batch 2 on May 24, 2024, at the Bohol Cultural Center, Tagbilaran City.
Ninety-two representatives from the different State Universities and Colleges (SUCs) in Regions II, III, VII, IX, X, XII, and XIII completed the mentorship series.
The event was hosted by Bohol Island State University (BISU), Department of Science and Technology – Philippine Council for Agriculture Aquatic and Natural Resources Research and Development (DOST-PCAARRD), and Agri-Aqua Business Incubation Network of the Philippines (AABINPHIL) Inc.
Dr. Josephine R. Migalbin, the program leader, along with Dr. Romiel Basan, Prof. Ronald Pascual, Dr. Esmaira Gunsayan, and Dr. Analyn Gonzales, were the USM delegates who attended the event. Additionally, representatives from Mindanao State University-General Santos City (MSU-GSC), Cotabato State University (CotSU), and Cotabato Foundation College of Science and Technology (CFCST) were also present from the Region XII.
With various speakers invited, the activity was organized to recognize the completers who finished the ten-day mentorship.
