In a continuing effort to connect education with employment, the University of Southern Mindanao (USM) organized a Job Fair at the University Auditorium, USM, Kabacan, Cotabato on June 13, 2025.
Aimed at providing graduating students with direct access to career opportunities from various industries, the event gathered multiple local and national companies, government agencies, and private employers offering job openings to soon-to-be USM graduates.
“This is event is special, it one of the ways that we can assist our graduating students especially their needs for employment. This is also a part of our commitment to support our students not just academically, but also as they transition into the workforce,” said Dr. Jonald L. Pimentel, USM President.
Aside from job application booths, the fair also featured on-the-spot interviews, resumé reviews, and career talks to equip students with the necessary tools and confidence as they prepare to join the workforce.
The job fair was spearheaded by the Office of the Student Affairs (OSA) through Counseling and Career Department (CCD), in collaboration with Public Employment Service Office (PESO), Department of Labor and Employment (DOLE), Technical Education and Skills Development Authority (TESDA), and other partner agencies that were present during the event.
