SOXAARRDEC partners with IRW-Philippines

As part of its goals this year, SOXAARRDEC presented the SOXAARRDEC Management System, Database for Mature Technologies and Website to the Consortium Member Institution (CMI) representatives on June 07, 2022 at the University of Southern Mindanao DOST-PCAARRD Technology Center (USM-DPTC) Auditorium with Prof. Arjay Agbunag, the resource person from USM and Prof. Eugene G. Ranjo, the new ICT Cluster Coordinator of the Consortium.
CMI representatives were taught how to utilize the system, the function of each parts, as well as the importance of having the system. Questions about the system were raised and given answers during the open forum.
In the afternoon, the CMI representatives gathered in their respective clusters. Through the guidance of their respective cluster coordinators Dr. Jurhamid C. Imlan (R&D), Dr. Lawrence Dollente (SciCom), Mr. Ommal Abdulkadil (Tech Trans), Prof. Eugene Ranjo (ICT), the focal persons per CMI provided updates of their previous commitment in the clusters, planned the next activities, and organized the schedule of the next capability building activities.
Dr. Josephine R. Migalbin, the Consortium Director, highlighted in her welcome remarks to strengthen the “ugnayan” of the Consortium and its CMIs and to continue their cooperation in every activity of SOXAARRDEC.
Moreover, the cluster coordinators expressed their thanks for the participation of the CMIs which has become stronger this year.
The attendance of the representatives per CMI during the activity is a clear indicator of achieving more accomplishments in the coming years.
