SOXAARRDEC Conducts First Quarter R&D Cluster Meeting

𝗔𝗿𝗮𝗸𝗮𝗻, 𝗖𝗼𝘁𝗮𝗯𝗮𝘁𝗼 – SOCCSKSARGEN Agriculture Aquatic and Natural Resources Research and Development Consortium (SOXAARRDEC) R&D cluster conducted its first quarter meeting on February 08, 2022 at Cotabato Foundation College of Science and Technology, Doroluman, Arakan.

The program started with an overview of the activity by Dr. Ma. Teodora N. Cabasan, the R&D Cluster Coordinator, followed by a message from Dr. Josephine R. Migalbin, the SOXAARRDEC Director, and CFCST President as well as the SOXAARRDEC Vice Chair, Dr. Ali K. Dilangalen.

Dr. Cabasan presented the objectives for the first quarter meeting for 2022 In-house Review schedule, schedule and venue of the R&D quarterly meeting, Schedule of the Regional R&D highlights of SOXAARRDEC, and the 2022 work plan of the R&D Cluster activity on proposal packaging and submission of consortium projects.

Moreover, on the same day, the representatives of the different Consortium Member Institutions (CMIs) together with Dr. Cabasan discussed the One SOXAARRDEC Project to be conducted this year.

The project aims to establish a trademark as a consortium in the region to ensure and emphasize certain reminders for the CMIs to work effectively in performing the responsibilities that will hopefully result in efficiently delivering and attaining the sector’s aims for the coming months as one R&D cluster with a unified vision and mission.

Dr. Migalbin, together with the consortium coordinators took the opportunity to award the plaque of appreciation to CFCST President Dr. Dilangalen who spearheaded the event.
