๐๐จ๐ก๐ ๐ฎ๐ต, ๐ฎ๐ฌ๐ฎ๐ฎ- Relative to the initial meeting with the Department of Agriculture- Area Development Project Office (DA-ADPO), SOXAARRDEC, through its Consortium Director, Dr. Josephine R. Migalbin presented today, June 29, 2022, at Venue 88, General Santos City, the final draft of the program for the proposed partnership in conducting the Regional Research Symposium for Farmers and Fisherfolks (RRSFF) that will be held this year, to DA-ADPO during the 11th Meeting of the Task Force SOCCSKSARGEN Food Basket and Agri-fishery Competitiveness.
The proposed activity aims to disseminate technologies to farmers and fisherfolks in the region. Researchers who have generated technologies in agriculture and aquatic resources will be invited as resource persons.
DA-ADPO is mandated to integrate, coordinate, facilitate, and monitor major development initiatives in the growth area that is related to the vision of SOXAARRDEC in providing research development and extension innovations in the region.
The meeting was attended by the members of the Task Force and other government agencies.
