R & D Display Center

USM R&D Technology Display Center is a project funded by Bureau of Agricultural Research of the Department of Agriculture (DA-BAR). The center was established to showcase diverse and innovative products developed by the University and other collaborating agencies. It also serves as a venue to market various agriculture products, providing easier access for local consumers and retailers in North Cotabato and other nearby areas.

The center also provides conducive environment for students and faculty, and serves coffee and beverages made entirely from locally sourced raw materials. Despite of the challenges along the way, the center has managed to cope up and make strategies to sustain its future operations.

This progress is largely due to the strong initiative of the top management, who is committed to provide assistance to the center in becoming to more profitable and widely recognized in the market. On January 4, 2020, Dr. Jalaloden B. Marohom, a faculty member from the College of Business Development and Economics (CBDEM) of the University was designated as the new R&D Technology Display Center Manager.  With his new leadership, R&D Technology Display Center will be more accessible and competitive, offering quality agriculture products for its consumers and bringing pride for the University of Southern Mindanao.
