NEDA Nat’l Office Visits USM for Project Monitoring

The Mindanao Tech, the official student publication of the University of Southern Mindanao, paid a courtesy visit to USM President Francisco Gil N. Garcia on August 12, 2024, at the Office of the President, Admin Building, USM, Kabacan, Cotabato.
As part of the visit, Ma. Leida Donque, EdD, the Office of Student Affairs (OSA) Director, introduced the new editorial board.
During the visit, instead of the usual formal introduction of names, programs, and positions in the organization, President Garcia asked each staffer about another staffer, which created an interactive atmosphere for them to express themselves casually.
Further, the editorial board talked with Ms. Charisse Quiambao, CPA, the supervising administrative officer (SAO) for USM’s finance department. They discussed finance and budgeting concerns for the publication of the present academic year.
The visit was both productive and insightful, marking a good start for the academic year for Mindanao Tech.
