As the University produces various research and development outputs, it becomes necessary for researchers to protect their intellectual property assets. The next Kapihan series will provide participants an opportunity to learn about intellectual property protection and patent/utility model applications from Dr. Julius Jerome G. Ele and Engr. Tito Jun T. Tidula. Both of them were participants of the 6th Intellectual Property Masterclass of the Department of Science and Technology – Philippine Council for Agriculture, Aquatic, and Natural Resources Research and Development (DOST-PCAARRD) held in Isabela from January 24-26, 2024. The aim of the work shop was to provide information on the entire process flow for patent application.

The Kapihan series would include demonstrations, a sharing of experiences or dos and donts in patent/UM application, and a hands-on experience for the preparation of drawings (for mechanical IP assets). Participants may also gain an opportunity to consult resource persons in the future, as the need arises.

To facilitate the workshop, pre-registration is required. Please register through this link, or by scanning the QR code in the photo.
