January 21, 2025The Extension Services Office (ESO) Director, Dr. Glyn G. Magbanua, spearheaded the 2025 ESO Inception Meeting on January 14, 2025, at the ESO Training and Conference Room. The event aimed to ensure that the 2025 project and component leaders are well-equipped to implement their projects and align objectives with the priority areas and agenda of the USM RDE.
The meeting was attended by 19 project and component leaders from various colleges of the university. Central to the discussions were intrinsic topics, including: Review of Deliverables from statutory and regulatory agencies, Finalization of the Project Management Team (PMT), Identification and Scheduling of Trainings, and Completion and Presentation of Special Orders.
The meeting concluded with the formal presentation of the finalized special orders, eyeing for the effective execution of extension projects for the year.
“This meeting marks a key milestone in fostering collaboration among project leaders as we advance extension projects for 2025,” Dr. Magbanua stated.
The event underscores USM’s commitment to excellence in research and extension, reinforcing its role as a center for community engagement by means of extension services.
