DOST-PTRI Visits USM for RYPIC Implementation

The Department of Science and Technology (DOST) Region XII personnel conducted an evaluation and monitoring of the local Grants-in-aid (GIA) research and development projects on April 1, 2024, at the USM Skyroom, USM, Kabacan Cotabato.
USM faculty researchers, PhilRice-Midsayap representative, and PCC at USM staff presented 8 DOST XII funded projects.
Ms. Giselle Eve O. Siladan, the Provincial S&T Director of South Cotabato Province and the Regional Planning Officer and R&D Focal Person, along with Dr. Michael T. Mayo, the Provincial S&T Director of the Cotabato Province of DOST XII, evaluated the progress and results of the research conducted.
The monitoring aims to check the progress of the programs and projects in helping entrepreneurs and farmers, especially in food processing and productivity.
