Cabasan transfers SOXAARRDEC R&D Cluster responsibility to Imlan

𝐊𝐀𝐁𝐀𝐂𝐀𝐍 𝐂𝐎𝐓𝐀𝐁𝐀𝐓𝐎 – SOXAARRDEC conducted a Turnover and Thanksgiving Program at the University of Southern Mindanao (USM) Auditorium, yesterday, April 07, 2022 where Dr. Ma. Teodora N. Cabasan turned over the responsibility to Dr. Jurhamid C. Imlan as the new Research and Development Cluster Coordinator of SOXAARRDEC.

Dr. Cabasan is the newly designated Vice President for Research, Development and Extension of USM after Dr. Edward A. Barlaan retired. In her speech, she emphasized her gratefulness for the opportunities she experienced in the consortium. “I really enjoyed working with SOXAARRDEC from its staff, fellow coordinators and our director. I may pass the responsibility to the equally competent new coordinator, but my support to SOXAARRDEC remains the same.” Dr. Cabasan highlighted.

Dr. Jurhamid C. Imlan also expressed his gratitude for being selected as the new coordinator and emphasized “I may not be able to surpass the achievements of the former coordinator, I will do my best to at least reach the same level of achievement.” in his message of acceptance.

Dr. Josephine R. Migalbin, the Consortium director, initiated the event to show gratitude to Dr. Cabasan’s excellent contribution to the consortium and to welcome Dr. Imlan in SOXAARRDEC. She said that she is inspired when Dr. Cabasan expressed her continued support to SOXAARRDEC and to Dr. Imlan when he said to do his best for the SOXAARRDEC R&D Cluster. She took the chance of thanking Dr. Barlaan for his contribution to the consortium during his time as VPRDE of USM.

Present in the occasion were Dr. Lawrence Anthony U. Dollente, the Science Communication Cluster Coordinator, Mr. Ommal H. Abdulkadil, the Technology Transfer Cluster Coordinator and Dr. Efren E. Magulama, one of the former directors of SOXAARRDEC. The event concluded with the giving of plaque of recognition and token to Dr. Cabasan.
