In 2022, there were around 1.5 billion people worldwide who spoke English either natively or as a second language, slightly more than the 1.1 billion Mandarin Chinese speakers at the time of survey, Statista reported.

Today is the English Language Day as declared by the United Nations to celebrate one of its six official languages. This day is designed to raise awareness of the history, culture, and achievements of English language.

As a fun way to celebrate this day, let us put to use our hard-earned English speaking skills as we take on the #EnglishOnlyChallenge! Game? Let’s go!
