The Office of the VPRDE is calling for RDE proposals for 2023 funding based on USM thematic areas. You may propose research or extension projects in the following areas:

1. New product development (agriculture, engineering, educational tools, food and food-based products, educational materials)

2. New technologies (processing, mechanisms, software/program, e-learning materials)

3. Innovations (any innovations of existing technologies and products, modifications)

4. Entrepreneurship (marketing strategies, product testing, technology adoption)

5. Relevant social concerns leading to policies and publication

You may submit your capsule proposal to the Research and Development Office (RDO) and Extension Services Office (ESO). Deadline for submission will be on May 27, 2022. Accepted capsule proposals will be announced on June 15, 2022.
