The University of Southern Mindanao Faculty Association Inc. (USMFAI) newly elected officers for the 2025-2027 term took oath on January 6, 2024, at the Office of the President, Administration Building, USM, Kabacan, Cotabato.
USM President Dr. Francisco Gil N. Garcia officiated the oath-taking ceremony. President Willie Jones Saliling led the newly elected officers, who were joined by Vice President Ruben Tagare, Jr., Secretary Pamela Villanueva, Treasurer Joy Sharon Gamido, Auditor Mitzi Aileen Alba, Business Manager Vicente Delos Reyes, and Public Information Officer Jomar Esto.
In his Facebook post, President Saliling thanked the faculty for their trust and outlined the “HAPI Agenda,” which stands for House in Order, Advocate of Rights and Welfare, Partnership for Strength, and Incentives for Productivity. He emphasized the need for consultations and collaborations to strengthen the association’s role in addressing faculty concerns and enhancing workplace conditions. “We cannot do it alone. We need your help in building a better association,” Saliling posted.
The new officers pledged to serve with integrity, inclusivity, and dedication, aligning the association’s goals with USM’s mission and ensuring the welfare of its members.
