Expert faculty from the University of Southern Mindanao- College of Business Development and Enterprise Management (USM-CBDEM): Dr. Analyn A. Gonzales, Dr. Jeannie U. Duka, Dr. Esmaira G. Gunsayan, Dr. Mitzi Aileen M. Alba, Prof. Sandra Angela A. Bangcaya, and Dr.  Jay-r  G. Vildac – shared their expertise in a training-workshop called a Social Entrepreneurship and Enterprise Development (SEED) on September 11-12, 2024, at Spottswood Methodist Center, Quezon Boulevard, Kidapawan City.

This 2-day SEED training was part of the “Strengthening Liguasan Marsh-based Farmers’ Resilience towards Climate Change and Disaster Impacts on their Livelihood in North Cotabato” project under the leadership of Dr. Rosana P. Alave and was inaugurated by the Philippine Rural Reconstruction Movement (PRRM), in collaboration with World Vision Development Foundation (WVDF).

A total of 24 representatives from the Climate Smart Agriculture (CSA) group from Kabacan, Mlang, and Tulunan participated to the training.

The objective this training is to equip participants with essential knowledge, practical skills, and a proactive mindset to establish and manage social enterprises focused on climate-smart and resilience-building initiatives.
