USM Bags 2 Golds, 2 Bronzes in PASUC-NCAF 2024
Participants from the University of Southern Mindanao (USM) collected two golds and two bronzes during the 11th Philippine Association of State Universities and Colleges-National Culture and Arts Festival (PASUC-NCAF) 2024 at the Philippine Normal University (PNU).
The University Modern Dance Troupe (UMDT) from USM took home the top spot again in the Contemporary Dance Competition, and the USM B’dadali Dance Troupe secured fifth place in the Folk Dance Competition held at the Metropolitan Theater. It is the only dance troupe from Mindanao who won the competition.
Moreover, Rhever Jude Ansing, representing Region XII, was crowned Mr. PASUC-NCAF 2nd Runner-Up during the Mr. and Ms. Philippine Association of State Universities and Colleges-National Culture and Arts Festival (PASUC-NCAF) 2024. He also earned two minor awards to wit, Best Production Number and Best Regional Attire. Ms. Region XII, Casthel Jane Melmida, was awarded the Best Regional Attire.
Meanwhile, Angel Rose Marco and Shirlene Roquero landed 1st place in the Vocal Duet Competition.
