They were guided by Ms. Ede Jane Ceniza, Ms. Jolly Fe Midsapak, and Vincent Jay Belbar, BS DevCom interns, who served as resource persons. The training, titled “Leadership Development: Unlocking the Potential as a Future Leader” took place on April 23, 2024, at the ESO T/C Room, USM, Kabacan, Cotabato.
The objective of the training was to equip participants not only to lead effectively but also to inspire and influence positive change within their respective fields of interest, fostering a culture of innovation, collaboration, and excellence within the organization. Ms. Ritchel O. Torres, Training Specialist II, and Mr. Jaypee Monfort, ESO project staff and OJT Coordinator, guided the training.
During the workshop, the participants were divided into two groups and actively engaged in discussions on Strengths, Weaknesses, Opportunities, and Threats (SWOT) of leadership. They shared real-life experiences regarding their strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, and threats as leaders and soon-to-be leaders. They also learned leadership capability skills and tips to overcome fears associated with leadership. The ESO T/C room buzzed with energy as each group prepared unique yells before presenting their outputs.
