The Kapihan series aims to promote a culture of Research, Development and Extension (RDE) in University of Southern Mindanao by providing mentorship and professional activities for faculty and researchers.
The proposal writing workshop is well-timed, aligning with the upcoming call for proposals from the Department of Science and Technology scheduled for March 15, 2024.
For this year, DOST has introduced a new system for soliciting proposals. Interested researchers are invited to submit a concept proposal (brief description of the project, maximum 1500 words) via email (rather than through the DPMIS system).
Email submissions are accepted from March 1-15, 2024.
Upon receipt, DOST will review proposals. Researchers whose proposals pass through the initial evaluation will then be asked to submit the full-blown proposal through the DPMIS.
