USM Wins Awards in SBPS Science Colloquium

Monday, March 04, 2024, the University of Southern Mindanao (USM) President Francisco Gil N. Garcia, along with the university employees, convened the USM Aleosan faculty members, staff, and students through a convocation program at the USM Aleosan campus.
Medical and dental checkups, as well as orientation regarding the services of the Office of Student Affairs (OSA) and Finance Office, were conducted on the campus serving the Veterinary Technology (VetTech) and Bachelor of Elementary Education (BEED) students.
In his message, President Garcia underscored his respect to the Local Government Unit (LGU) of Aleosan for the persistent support in the campus. He encouraged the students to aim high especially when taking board examinations as the university will provide incentives. “Ang akin lamang sana ay lahat kayo makapagtapos ng pag-aral, magkaroon kayo ng magandang trabaho, magbabayad ng taxes para sa ikauunlad pa ng bayan ng Aleosan.” He spoke.
Aleosan Mayor Eduardo Cabaya also graced the activity. He highlighted that having a USM campus in their place is part of his dreams and that he highly supports the education section in his term as mayor.
The activity highlights the effort of the university to strengthen partnerships in its community and provide strong support for the overall development of its students.
