A total of sixty-seven (67) papers under three categories to wit, basic research (20), applied research/development (24), and extension/social research (23), were presented during the 2024 University of Southern Mindanao (USM) Midyear In-house Review on July 25, 2024, at the USM Commercial Building, USM, Kabacan, Cotabato.
Emma K. Sales, PhD, with ELorde Jr. S. Crispolon, PhD, and Bryan Lloyd P. Bretaña, MS, evaluated twenty-four (24) papers in the applied research/development category.
Under the basic category, Naomi G. Tangonan, PhD, Tamie C. Solpot, PhD and Elizabeth C. Molina, PhD, checked twenty (20) papers.
Lastly, Lorna G. Valdez, PhD, Ardniel A. Baladjay, PhD and Leorence Tandog, PhD, assessed twenty-three (23) papers in the extension category.
The activity, spearheaded by the office of the Vice President for Research Development and Extension (VPRDE), is way of thoroughly monitoring the projects to ensure that RDE activities are geared toward addressing the needs and problems of the clientele of the university in its service area in particular and in the national level in general, for sustained agricultural development and its allied fields.
